Thousands of people around the world are involved in the daily struggle against corrupt government regimes and their corporate partners who put power and profit before life, law or the environment while billions of people sit at home watching mainstream media and swallowing the crap and propaganda the establishment pipes down the tube to them via their idiot boxes  24/7 on countless different chanels. All in order to keep the masses deliberately dumbed down and to bring rewards to advertisers.

People  know something is very wrong, but given the way we are all ‘educated’, or in reality, brainwashed and conditioned to take up our places on the treadmill to keep the pockets of bankers lined and their political servants in power, saying NO with any chance of being listened to is a virtual impossibility.

Sure, we can write letters of complaint, go on marches, even go on strike……but….none of those efforts will make the slightest bit of difference to the plans of the powers that be. What would make a difference is if a lot more people started to say NO with a bit more meaning and in ways that can’t just be ignored. The state doesn’t have the facilities to lock us all up – yet - does it?

Some groups already are standing up and saying NO to their appointed  masters and some of these groups already have informative and well run websites. There already are a variety of alternative news websites on the net which fly in the face of the establishment and offer readers truthful news. But given the size and power of the establishment and its propaganda machines, in the numbers game alone there just aren’t enough sources providing news and accounts of anything that matters in the grand scheme of things.

Those who  need to control us to keep bleeding us for their balance sheets would rather we remained gripped by the latest episode of Pop Idol or who’s doing what in Big Brother or Coronation Street……but frankly, who with a functioning brain gives, or should give a shit about what Norris is or isn’t doing to Rita on the idiot box when bankers are being thrown billions of tax-payers money on a seemingly weekly basis without tax-payers consent. We currently have unmanned drones bombing the arms and legs off innocent people across Afghanistan, Iraq in turmoil following our criminal attack on it,  politicians routinely lying to us and trying to dispose of any rights we still have to govern ourselves by trying to manipulate us into being permanent slaves of the European Union with no chance of escape or parole…..the list goes on and on….and governments and their corporate allies continue to get away with such behaviour unchallenged in any meaningful way as when the electorate is eventually asked to present a verdict through the ballot box there will be no real choice whatsover. You can choose from the same, more of the same and yet more of the same.

What I hope this blog will do is offer information to anybody finally coming to the realisation that they have had enough of being a manipulated, controlled statistic who exists only to line the pockets of the powers that be. Information on what to expect if or when you do decide to step outside your allocated box, either on your own behalf or that of any third party being exploited, attacked or murdered by government in its own or its corporate buddies interests. And to publish news about others already involved in the fight for freedom and liberty that our current regimes only pay lip service to in the hope that such platitudes will keep their respective electorates, or captive audiences sedated.

The Beginner’s Guide to Direct Action is not a template, nor despite appearances is it offered as a deterrent.  It’s a collection of points highlighting some of the challenges one may face when standing up to a corrupt lying establishment and its uniformed little foot soldiers.

This blog, whilst acknowledging the efforts of all people involved in personal or group struggles will focus primarily on efforts made to defend and protect human rights and liberties as they are removed and disposed of  by governments as controlled by banks, the Military Industrial Complex and other big business.  It will not disclose information about campaigning groups or individuals or their practices which isn’t already in the public domain or without permission.
